Interns play an important role in the LeidenGlobal office, contributing to our communications, special events, and a variety of short-term projects. At the same time, an internship at LeidenGlobal offers valuable opportunities for learning and professional development. Interns gain hands-on experience, discover more about international and cultural organisations, and become part of a broad and inspiring network.
We are delighted to welcome our new intern to the LeidenGlobal team and look forward to working and learning together! Alexander Rhodes introduces himself:
My name is Alex, I'm the new communications intern at LeidenGlobal.
I'm a Chinese Studies alumnus at Leiden University and am currently pursuing a Masters in International Relations here in Leiden.
As an Amsterdammer of German and British descent, I’ve always enjoyed exploring different cultures, whether through customs, food, art, or simply meeting people from backgrounds different from my own.
This curiosity has taken me to many parts of the world. Most notably Senegal, Spain, Taiwan and Thailand, where I’ve been fortunate to spend enough time to truly feel at home. I hope to broaden my horizons even further during this internship, helping to keep you informed on all the latest news and events from LeidenGlobal and our partners.
Very much looking forward to meeting you all!
Warmest regards,
Alexander Rhodes
=> Interested in also becoming a communications intern? Keep an eye on our website! We offer 2 internships a year - a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, get creative, and become part of our team.
