PhD Position in Pre-Islamic Central Arabian Inscriptions (1,0 fte)
The ERC-funded GeoPo project investigates the history of Arabia at the dawn of Islam (c. 500–650 CE) through an interdisciplinary analysis of poetry, geography, and material culture. The successful candidate will focus on newly discovered pre-Islamic inscriptions identified during fieldwork in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the reconstruction of central Arabian society and historical landscapes.
