PhD Position in Pre-Islamic Central Arabian Inscriptions (1,0 fte)
The ERC-funded GeoPo project investigates the history of Arabia at the dawn of Islam (c. 500–650 CE) through an interdisciplinary analysis of poetry, geography, and material culture. The successful candidate will focus on newly discovered pre-Islamic inscriptions identified during fieldwork in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the reconstruction of central Arabian society and historical landscapes.

PhD position in Oral History and Arabian Traditions (1,0 fte)
The ERC-funded GeoPo project investigates the history of Arabia at the dawn of Islam (c. 500–650 CE) and focuses on the role of oral traditions in preserving knowledge of place, history, and identity in central Arabian communities.
