This semester, LeidenGlobal welcomes Fleur as a new intern. She supports the team with online communication, writing content, organising and promoting activities, conducting expert interviews, and special projects. Interns are indispensable to the LeidenGlobal office, and we’re excited to have her on board. Here’s a short introduction from Fleur:
Hi everyone!
My name is Fleur, and I am currently doing a double master’s degree in East Asia Studies and Translation. During my studies, my focus mainly lies on China, but I am always open to explore more parts of the world. I am especially interested in literature, history, language, and culture. These fields also attracted me to apply for the internship position at LeidenGlobal.
I am, therefore, excited to start my work at as the new intern and broaden my horizons. My interest in doing this internship is in working together to spread (cultural) knowledge to a wider public. I have always been interested in language accessibility and I look forward to not only developing my own skills in this, but also applying it to make knowledge a more accessible good.
In my free time, I like to meet up with friends, travel, play games, and read.
